At Kidman Park Primary School, we are shifting the focus from simply delivering great teaching to fostering great learning. Through our ongoing partnership with educational expert James Anderson, we are deepening our understanding of Student Agency—where students take greater ownership of their learning journey. This means helping students become more than just passive recipients of knowledge. We are explicitly teaching them how to learn, how to embrace challenge, reflect on mistakes, and grow through effort and perseverance. This shift empowers our learners to become more agile, confident, and self-directed—skills they’ll carry with them for life.
